100 Dancers is a collaborative dance meeting and event for people with an extended experience within dance and contact improvisation, and a commitment to independent production and choreographic research.

Next 100 DANCERS meeting take place in the green parks, beautiful dance studios and urban wilderness of Warsaw. Help bring dance and site specific choreography out into the streets of Warsaw, a city where people don’t usually dance in the streets…

15-21st July 2012 in Warsaw, Poland

CI dancers, dancers and choreographers are invited to participate in exchange forum, network and performance projects.

100 DANCERS is a meeting place connecting artists into improvisation, site specific works and cross media production.

100 DANCERS integrate artistic research and dialog with site specific performance in public spaces.

100 DANCERS also invite MUSICIANS and NEW MEDIA artists to apply their own research.

The 100 DANCERS dance meeting is facilitated by the participants contributing proposals and ideas. PUBLIC dance events will be created as collaborative works
